Eco Felt Books - Educational, Fun and Earth Friendly
I started making these books for family members (little ones) and decided to see how they would do on Etsy. This is my first order - Jackson.
Wow! Jackson is a long name. Every time I make one of these I am amazed at how challenging it is to find a word that will translate well to felt.
I try to avoid the "a is for apple" rut that is far to easy to get stuck in. That's why I choose things like sandwich, octopus and nest. I hope it gives more of a custom feel and I always encourage buyers to come up with their own words.
Turns out, these books are very durable (even washable) and totally unique. I love, love, love them. What do you think?

McTrio Project
I have a love/hate relationship with McDonald's. When I received a request to make a triplet set featuring my well known frenemy, I accepted. Begrudgingly.
My little project making appliques of a burger, fries and a soda began and quickly came to a halt. I always use eco felt (my favorite and most earth friendly fabric) and take my time - but this project presented a challenge. I had to find a balance between realism and my personal aesthetic. This was hard!
I finally finished and - I have to say - I'm proud!!!
